Eyelid aesthetic surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to correct signs of aging and sagging in the upper and/or lower eyelids. Upper Eyelid Surgery (Upper Blepharoplasty)

Upper blepharoplasty is a relatively simple and quick procedure, usually lasting around one hour under local anesthesia. It involves removing the excess skin and, if needed, a small amount of fat. There are two main approaches:
- Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty:
- Used when fat removal or repositioning is needed but there is no excess skin.
- The incision is made inside the lower eyelid, leaving no visible external scar.
- External (Subciliary) Blepharoplasty:
- Preferred when skin removal is also necessary.
- The incision is made just below the lash line and heals very well within the natural crease, resulting in a barely noticeable scar.
